Privacy Policy

Perkbar ("we", "us") is operated by Mandatory Hustle Studios. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service.

Who this applies to

Perkbar is available internationally. We honor the GDPR (EU/EEA/UK) and comparable privacy laws (including Turkey's KVKK) for all users, wherever you are.

What we collect

• Waitlist / account: your name and email address, and (for advertisers) your brand name, social handles, website, and contact email.
• Usage while earning: which ads were shown, view duration, points earned and redeemed, and basic anti-fraud signals (e.g. device/session identifiers). Points only accrue while the app is active on your screen.
• Technical: standard log data (IP, timestamp) used for security and to prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not track your browsing outside Perkbar.

Why we use it

• To run the waitlist and, later, your account and rewards.
• To serve ads and calculate/validate points fairly (fraud prevention).
• To send you service emails (welcome, reward confirmations, password resets). Email is delivered via Resend.

Where your data is processed

Our infrastructure runs on Vercel (site) and Railway (backend). Data may be processed on servers outside your country, including the EU and US, under appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and you can opt out of marketing emails at any time. To exercise any right, email hello@perk.bar and we'll respond within 30 days.

Data retention

We keep waitlist and account data until you ask us to delete it or the account is closed. Concretely:

• Account and waitlist data — until you ask us to delete it, or the account closes.
• Deletion requests — actioned within 30 days of you emailing us.
• Anti-fraud signals (impression timing, device fingerprint) — 12 months, then deleted.
• Impression and billing records — kept after deletion in a form no longer linked to you, because an advertiser has already been billed for them and we may need them for tax.
• Inactive accounts — points expire after 24 months of inactivity; we email you first.

Children

Perkbar is not intended for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We'll update this page and the date above if this policy changes. Material changes will be emailed to registered users.
